So-
I am probably posting because there is a multitude of things I should be doing instead. I am moving back to New Orleans on Sunday and "loose ends" doesn't even begin to describe what my list says I have left to do. But I am a procrastinator and since my mom and sister helped me completely finish the kitchen in under two hours yesterday, I think I have plenty of time. I don't.
I am going to buy more boxes, turn in the cable boxes, get an oil change, car washed, write some thank you notes, pack up the kidney foundation donations------if the plumber ever gets here.
Yep- waiting on the plumber and aggravated to say the least. Again- my mistake for cancelling him on Wednesday because I went gem mining and got the time wrong by two hours. I am not easily distracted, but I would rather do fun activities then pack a box full of crap I know I don't need but can't part with.
The house we are moving to is half the size of where we live now. I have reserved a storage unit because I can't toss any of my holiday decorations (one big box for every holiday and 8 for Christmas). But now it seems there is even more that will be squirreled away for a future time when I have a bigger living space and the need for the perfect knick-knack. Ridiculous I know.
The plumber said "early to late morning". It is now 1pm. I've texted him but haven't called. Maybe I should do that? No one to blame but myself.
Alrighty- I need to get this train moving.
